Computer-Based Training

Computer-based training (CBT) can be conducted using a training CD or via the Internet. One of the major disadvantages of CBT is that is costly to prepare and not cost-effective to modify under most conditions. While you can find CBT for the wireless industry, you are unlikely to find it for any other application. Rather than use what is available and not particularly well-suited to their application, companies have turned to RF Safety Solutions for a more appropriate solution. Richard Strickland has provided the training content for the CBT used by several Fortune 500 companies in their own in-house training programs and can configure CBT that is best for your organization. Effective CBT training must contain not only the information on the typical slides, but also the information provided by the instructor. Look at a couple of slides from a typical instructor-led course, and compare them to slides prepared for a custom CBT program by RF Safety Solutions. The training content includes full exams with an explanation for every answer. Both correct and incorrect answers get explanations.

In-House Training Support

Training content can be provided in several formats that allow a company to become essentially self-sufficient for future RF safety training needs. In this case, the project generally begins with one or two RF Safety LiveCastâ„¢ sessions. Some of the students in these courses then become future instructors. RF Safety Solutions prepares the PowerPoint presentation and adds a script for every slide. Because the future instructors have also received the training via an RF Safety LiveCastâ„¢ session, they are usually comfortable teaching future sessions using a complete presentation and script. Exam questions and answers are normally supplied. Upon completion of such a project, the customer has the right to use the training material for its own training needs in the future.

Our new training Web site has even more information on RF safety training, including course descriptions. We now offer public sessions of our most popular LiveCast courses. If you are the only person that requires training, or you have a group of five or fewer people, these public courses are an ideal solution.
